2022 Impact
We were back in person, and it was a community celebration! The Lobo Cancer Challenge was held at University Stadium on September 24, 2022.
851 Challengers in 78 teams along with 76 sponsors and all of our supporters:
together we raised $373,500+ to #UniteAgainstCancer in New Mexico!

Gastrointestinal Cancer Research received more than $5,000. Neuro-Oncology Cancers and the Training and Education of Health Professionals received more than $3,000 each. Head and Neck Cancers Research; Early Phase Cancer Clinical Trials Program and Cancer Palliative / End of Life Care received more than $2,000 each. The Lung Cancers Prevention Research & Treatment Fund; Skin Cancer Prevention & Research Fund; Sarcomas and Bone Cancers Research and the Cancer Survivorship Clinic collectively received more than $5,000. Each program received donations!
Every dollar raised by our Challengers went directly to the cancer fund of their choice at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
