Greater than ever! The Lobo Cancer Challenge was celebrated at University Stadium on September 28, 2024.

1,704 Challengers in 83 teams along with 72 sponsors:
together we raised $652,000 to #UniteAgainstCancer in New Mexico!

Head & Neck Cancers Research received $5,175 and the Cancer Palliative / End of Life Care fund received $3,473. Gastrointestinal Cancer Research received $2,840; the Cancer Survivorship Clinic received $2,650; the Skin Cancer Prevention and Research Fund received $2,260; and the Early Phase Cancer Clinical Trials Program received $2,150. Training and Education of Cancer Health Professionals received $1,590 and Sarcomas and Bone Cancers Research received $350.

 

Every dollar raised by our Challengers went directly to the cancer fund of their choice at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
